I've been trying to ignore Palin news or comemntary since she isn't running for President. I figured it was more important to watch the actual candidates since we don't have much time and technically, their the ones running the country. Unfortunately, I like Sam Harris and this found it's way into my browser today.

If only we could give wolves and moose in Alaska arms and flack jackets! Then we'd see how tough these hunters are.
Personally, I think you should only be allowed to hunt large game (especially predators) with a knife. If you can take down the animal in hand-to-hand combat, then you're tough.

This year, her state biologists even dragged 14 newborn wolf pups from their den and, having already shot their parents, then shot each of the pups in the head at close range. Hundreds of wolves are killed each year by this antiquated state program that has no scientific justification whatsoever, but rather is designed to appease Palin's urban sport hunter supporters."

Are you effing kidding me?!?! Seriously, what's the matter with America? Wake up! McCain/Palin is a bad ticket! They are both nuts and will continue to drive this country into ruin. I am completely baffled by how the addition of Sarah Palin can help this ticket! Do you seriously think she would do a good job as President if called upon?
Read my previous posts. Look up her record. Wake the hell up! Palin is no better than any other random political person taken from a long list of terrible conservatives. Hell, you could pick any man or woman off the street and get an equally competent and arguably better representative to lead this country.
What scares me most is if Americans really do want these sorts of crooks and liars running the country, where are we headed? We are no longer top dog in the world. We will be surpassed and destroyed by any country that can think beyond a 6th grade education.
No, on second thought, that's not the scary part. I have to believe that people don't want these people in power. They will vote for these candidates based on bad information, marketing, and lies. Good people, people who genuinely want good things for America and the world are being duped by world class marketing campaigns. Shame on the Republican party for putting America in this situation. For not talking about policy and hyping hyper-nationalism. For raping the common man to better business' bottom line while convincing us that they are looking out for our best interests. For using religious dogma and belief to their own benefit. And for doing this all with a smile on their face, their fingers crossed behind their backs, and their wallets getting fatter as our country descends into some of it's darkest days.
